Alpha2-Antiplasmin
Catalog Number: α2AP
Size: 0.1 mg
a2Antiplasmin is purified using immuno-affinity and ion exchange chromatography. This protein migrates as a single band on SDS-PAGE under non-reducing conditions.
Activity is determined by titration with purified plasmin using our chromogenic substrate PlasminChrom.
NOTE: Activity is listed as % inhibition of human plasmin at 1:2 (a2ap:plasmin) molar concentration.
The above protein was purified from Human plasma units that test negative for antibodies to HBc, HCV, HIV 1/2, HTLV-I/II, and non reactive for HBsAg, HIV-1 RNA, HCV RNA, HBV DNA and Syphilis by FDA approved tests. Donors are screened for CJD.
